Setting the Foundation with a Custom Patio
Every great outdoor design starts with a strong foundation. To define the different “rooms” of this expansive backyard, we designed and installed a premium paver patio.
Instead of one massive, monotonous slab of stone, we used contrasting borders to naturally guide guests from one zone to the next. This created distinct, cozy sitting areas throughout the space—perfect for intimate conversations or stealing a quiet moment with a morning coffee.
The Ultimate Culinary Hub
If you love to entertain, a simple charcoal grill just won’t cut it. We designed a fully loaded outdoor kitchen and bar that serves as the social heartbeat of the yard.
The Outdoor Kitchen
Built with durable, weather-resistant stone veneer and topped with gorgeous, low-maintenance granite countertops, this kitchen features:
A premium built-in gas grill
Stainless steel storage drawers and a trash pull-out
A convenient outdoor refrigerator to keep ingredients fresh and prep-ready
The Elevated Outdoor Bar
Just steps from the grill, we integrated a raised bar counters-cap with comfortable bar seating. This allows the host to stay part of the conversation while cooking, while guests can sip drinks in style.
Al Fresco Dining Under the Pergola
Just off the kitchen sits the formal dining area. To give this space a sense of intimacy and architectural grandeur, we constructed a custom wooden pergola.
Underneath, a spacious dining table sits ready for family dinners. The pergola provides just the right amount of dappled shade during hot summer afternoons, and we outfitted it with integrated lighting so the dinner parties can easily transition into the evening hours.
Design Tip: Adding a vertical element like a pergola or pavilion helps define a dining space and makes an open backyard feel much more cozy and structured.
Winding Down by the Firepit
No resort-style backyard is complete without a place to gather once the sun goes down. Tucked into a cozy corner of the new patio is a custom-built stone firepit, surrounded by deep-seating lounge chairs.
Whether roasting marshmallows with the kids or enjoying a nightcap under the stars, this dedicated fire feature adds warmth, ambiance, and extending usability into the cooler autumn months.
