Greenville Landscaping Company

At Cider Mill Landscapes, we believe great design begins with listening. Every Greenville project starts with a one-on-one consultation where we get to know your goals, preferences, and the unique character of your property. We’ll walk the space with you, talk through ideas, and make sure we understand exactly what you’re hoping to achieve—whether it’s a complete outdoor transformation or a subtle upgrade.

After this collaborative planning session, our team develops a custom landscape design that reflects your vision. We combine artistic creativity with technical expertise, using high-quality materials and professional installation techniques to ensure the finished product is beautiful, functional, and built to last.

Landscaping Design and Installation Services in Greenville

We treat every landscape in West Chester as if it were our own. That means careful planning, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to installation. We start with site-specific considerations—sun exposure, drainage, soil quality—and we only use healthy, region-appropriate plants and premium construction materials.

With deep roots in the region and a passion for excellence, our team brings years of experience and local knowledge to every property we transform.

Garden Design & Installation

Choosing the right plants is one of the most important parts of successful landscape design. We focus on selecting plantings that will offer visual interest throughout the year, complement each other in height and texture, and thrive in the natural light and shade of your yard. We consider the timing of blooms, seasonal color, and how different plant varieties interact to create a space that evolves beautifully with each season.

Hardscaping

Hardscaping is a key aspect of landscape design, focusing on non-living elements that provide structure, functionality, and style to your outdoor space. This includes patios, walkways, seating areas, and more, adding both beauty and practicality to your property. Whether you’re looking for stone, brick, concrete, or wood, we use materials that complement your home’s architecture and blend seamlessly with your surroundings. Our designs create a cohesive and inviting outdoor experience that enhances your Malvern property.

Arbors, Pergolas & Pavilions

Elevate your outdoor space with a beautifully crafted arbor, pergola, or pavilion. These structures provide shade, architectural interest, and a sense of place—ideal for gardens, patios, or poolside settings. We design with Greenville’s distinct style in mind and build with care, ensuring each structure is code-compliant, positioned for optimal light and airflow, and constructed for long-term durability.

Drainage & Water Mitigation

Greenville’s rolling landscapes and mature trees are beautiful—but they can also make drainage a challenge. We address these issues with intelligent water management systems designed to protect your foundation, prevent erosion, and preserve the health of your landscape. From French drains to grading solutions, we install systems that manage runoff effectively and discreetly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need a landscape designer? Can’t I do this on my own?

In doing this for many years, and living and breathing it every day, there are a lot of things that go into a design. Like every other industry, there are things that an “amateur” or someone that doesn’t design on a daily basis will overlook. There are intricate details that we know to implement into a design. As well as different aspects of nature or a landscape that we know to factor in that a homeowner may not. Especially with outdoors, there are a lot of things to take into consideration.

Do you work with budgets?

We do work with budgets. Making sure we design to accommodate our clients is a big part of the process.

Can I get an estimate over the phone?

In most cases, the answer is no. We need a site visit and accurate measurements.

Can you perform installations if I already have plans?

Yes, however, we may make suggestions or edits to the plan. We will not implement another design if we feel like the structural integrity of a project has been compromised or under-engineered. We also will not implement a design that has horticultural or product flaws.

What are your payment terms?

For smaller projects, and repeat maintenance clients, payment is due upon completion. For mid-size and larger projects, we take 1/3 up front and the rest upon completion. For projects larger than $50k, we take 1/3 up front, 1/3 when approximately half-way done, and the rest upon completion. Typically we make sure a client is 100% satisfied before taking a final payment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and check. If a credit card is requested we charge a 3.5% finance fee (our cost from the merchant service provider.)

What guarantees do you offer on installations?

New plant installations have a one year warranty.

Patios, structures, and outdoor living areas receive a 3-5 year craftsmanship warranty, depending on the service.

All appliances and products receive the manufacturer’s warranty.

Are your staff sub-contractors or employees?
All of our staff are employees.
Which areas do you serve?

We work with clients throughout Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County & New Castle County. In PA, this includes Broomall, Bryn Mawr, Chadds Ford, Garnet Valley, Glen Mills, Havertown, Kennett Square, Malvern, Media, Springfield, Swarthmore, Wayne & West Chester. In DE, this includes Greenville, Hockessin & North Wilmington.
